The general recommendation for pregnant women is not to consume more than 200 mg of caffeine a day. One cup of Matcha has about 70 mg of caffeine and a cup of coffee has about 150 mg of caffeine. We need to understand that the caffeine in coffee (that is acid for your stomach)  and matcha caffeine (that is alkaline) are not the same.
